Forge World Terms and Conditions

Please note carefully!

Since 2001 TheWarStore has imported Forge World products into the US as a service to our US customers. In many ways Forge World Orders are very different from regular TheWarStore orders and I want to outline some of the differences below.

Novices, take note!

• Know what you are buying before you buy it! Forge World is expensive and orders can take a while. No that is not a complete Dreadnought for $15, nor a Leman Russ tank with a custom turret for $30.00. It really is just a weapon arm and just a turret. Forge World is all about small pieces and conversions that may cost a lot but do wonders for customizing and completing your army.
• It is ok to be new at this, so please feel free to ASK before buying if you are unsure about any product. Returns because you thought you were buying something else entirely are frustrating for both of us.

Pricing

• Forge World gives us no retailer discount at all so we are not able to give our regular Games Workshop 20% off price on Forge World items.
• Our price on Forge World is actually higher than buying direct, but not by as much as you might think at first. Forge World's US shipped price is the pounds price PLUS 15% for US shipping. Our Forge World price is the pounds price plus approximately 30% and covers shipping from the UK to us. $4.95 shipping from us to you is added juat as in every TheWarStore order..
• We update the pricing every time there is a substantial change in the exchange rate between dollars and pounds.

Inventory

• We stock no Forge World products here at the store, it is all special order only.
• The only exception to the above rule is the Forge World Imperial Armor books, we will have live inventory of them posted very soon..

Availability

• Forge World is very good to us and usually gets our orders out quickly. Upon arrival here the products are shipped to our customers immedaitely.
• In the past Forge World orders have typically take 2-3 weeks, (very often less time) with an odd item exception from time to time. We hope that will once again become the norm soon.

Order Delays

• Please note: Since 40K Apocalypse Forge World has been innundated with orders and they are running very behind on some items.
• Please rest assured we will place your order promptly with Forge World, and they handle backorders in the order received. However at this time we cannot guarantee you will not experience a significant delay in receiving your Forge World order.
• I have no control over these backorders, and Forge World's only response is they are getting to the backlog as soon as possible. We talk to Forge World often and will do all we can to expedite things, but in the end all we can do is wait on them.

Credit Card Charges

• Every credit card order placed online is 'Authorized' immediately by our shopping cart system. However since we cannot ship Forge World in 2-3 days these authorizations expire and the money returned to your account. We make a new charge when we are ready to ship.
• I am bringing this up so you can understand our motivation -- we don't collect the money upfront (even though Forge World collects from US upfront) and then forget about your order, we only fully collect on the order when we SHIP.
• So if you order is delayed it is not becuase we have your money and don't really care anymore, we are doing all we can to get the stuff you need so we can actually make the charge and collect!

NEW Items and Discontinued items

• Forge World is constantly coming out with new models and you might be interested in a model that we don't list on our website. if that is the case just give us a call or send us an email with the Forge World Product Code and Price in pounds and we will set up the order for you.
• Forge World discontinues items from time to time without warning. If a product is not on the Forge World site it is not for sale anymore even if it is on our site. We have no Forge World stock, so please do not order discontinued Forge World items.
