The PRO-1 Foam Cutter Hot
Knife is absolutely the Cadillac of Hobby Crafting Tools.
When we first heard about this knife
we were skeptical. Sure the Wonder Cutter has some limitations and can be futzy
to work with, but why switch? But we ran the PRO-1 Foam Cutter Hot Knife
thru some testing here and man did it pass with flying colors!
First off, the PRO-1 Foam
Cutter Hot Knife heats up in a jiffy. Plug it in, press the button
and in less than a minute you are ready to rock and roll. Second, it works like
a charm. This thing cuts thru styrofoam and foamboard like the proverbial hot
knife thru butter. Even better it is versatile and easy to use. The PRO-1 can
make a wide variety of cuts and scores quickly and easily.
And this new and improved version
is even better than before - no more automatic shut off! This baby stays hot
as long as you need it to. We like it a lot better than the Wonder Cutter -
no broken wires and no dead batteries!
Our verdict? We know - it
seems pricy. But if you make terrain with foamboard and styrofaom, this knife is worth
every penny. We think you will agree. It is all we use here now.
