Any chance you guys can get Chapterhouse Studios bits?

Hi guys, I just placed an order with this company, Chapterhouse Studios. (www.chapterhousestudios.com)

They make a ton of 28mm accessories, mostly catering to Space Marine players. I have an awesome Salamanders marine army thanks to them.

They are branching out to Tyranid accessories and Eldar soon.

In any case I have my local store carrying the items here in Texas, and was wondering if you guys could carry them too? I place orders with you and it would be cool to have them in stock at your store (mine carries limited bits).

As cool as this stuff is, we decided not to go after them in fear of GW breaking our chops :(

What was GWs reason for that? Ive seen many of the pieces in person and they arent recast and I have had Chapterhouse say they cant make shoulder pads that are shown in GWs books because that would be breaching copyright.

Is there a real legal reason they gave or is it more of the 800 pound gorilla aka, GW, throwing around its weight.

I didnt think it was illegal to make parts that fit on other companies stuff.

Isn't there laws against that sort of thing in the US, anti-competitive laws and court cases?

More the 800lb Gorilla theory... Kind of hard to go into specifics, but as of now we are holding off... But that could all change very quickly ;)

Man... that is a shame. I hope you guys find a way to work with Chapterhouse, they seem to be on the right side with customer service and listening to the hobbyist. In my opinion it would be a crime to let a large company like GW bully retailers into not buying stuff.

Its not like GW doesnt profit from what Chapterhousestudios does, you cant play 40k with just a shoulder pad or a head bit, you need the GW model!
