Operating Hours?

I was up visiting friends in NYC and we decided to drive out to the Warstore this weekend. We all got up early, started the drive out there, stopped off at a diner for some breakfast and pulled into the parking area at about 11AM.

The website lists 9AM-5PM as business hours from Mon-Sat. Imagine our surprise and dissappointment when we found locked doors and darkened windows with noone in sight. As we waited there scratching our heads, another carload of eager customers arrived only to have the same dissappointed look on their faces when they found out noone was around. We did manage to finally find someone to question about operating hours and we were told that Neil was away on vacation for 2 weeks.

I realize now that we should call before investing the time to drive out there again but I wanted to suggest perhaps posting on your message boards whenever the Warstore's physical location will be closed on a normal business day. I did skim through the boards here and didn't read anything about the store being closed this past Saturday.

Dijinn (and anyone else disappointed this Saturday)

This is completely on my shoulders and sadly your not the only group that I let down Saturday. Several of our local players showed up to lock doors and no lights.

As you already know the boss was gone for two weeks and he normally likes to run things on the weekends. I never work Saturdays and I completely spaced on the fact that I agreed to work Saturday for the employee who said he would cover Neal. It wasn't till later in the day when a friend called to ask me where I was that I realized my mistake. Whats worse is I told the other employee he didn't have to come in and I would cover him. Which sadly means it was completely my fault your first visit was a poor experience.

So in this case the back up of the back up failed terribly. I'm sure I will receive many lashings Monday morning. (and probably throughout the week)

Firstly I apologize that you made the trek all of the way out here from the city only to find that we were closed. There was some miss communication on when the “Big Kahuna” would return.
Again I apologize for your inconvenience. I have been thoroughly “lashed” and chastised for my error. It won’t happen again.

Before I plan to head out there again this coming Saturday, I wanted to double-check and make sure Warstore would be open on Oct 31st. Just wanted to avoid being disappointed again, that's all.

Neal is back in the house and he will be protecting the WS on Saturday from Trick or Treaters.
